Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is the northernmost emirate that covers an area of nearly 26.9 billion sq. ft. The capital of the emirate is the eponymous town of Ras Al Khaimah, which is divided into two parts: western (Old Ras Al Khaimah) and eastern (Nakheel).

Dhayah Fort is one of the main historical attractions in the emirate and is the only remaining mountain fort in the UAE. It was built in the 19th century on a hill with a height of 229 ft.
